Crowdspring: A blog and Web site Worth Checking Out

"Is it true if you don't use it you lose it?"  I have been using Crowdspring for a few months now to keep my  marketing mind sharp.  Crowdspring gives creatives the opportunity to offer up their marketing services to startups and businesses of all sizes who can set their own prices for their marketing and design needs. What used to be just for designers is now offers projects writers.  For me,  someone who's not quite in the professional world yet, it is a great place to practice and hone my creative skills. Crowdspring is used by a wide variety of clients. Current projects on the site include a logo design for  a Las Vegas concierge service and a company name for an urban children's play area.

Crowdspring also has a  great resource in their blog, which offers helpful tips about small business, internet marketing and design.  The blog provides content for clients and creatives, just like their Web site does.  The 12 questions series puts the spotlight on designers in the Crowdspring community, most recently Tin Bacic.  Small business spotlight interviews some of the companies that use crowd springs services.

The Crowdspring blog has some great advice for startups and people interested in internet marketing.  I especially enjoyed a video posted a few weeks ago on innovation. In this video, Ross, the co-founder of Crowdspring, states that the key to success for a startup is dissatisfaction and he has a good point.  He makes examples out of companies such as Myspace who failed to stay relevant because they got complacent with their success.  With interesting articles and an excellent link round up Crowdspring keeps up to speed with the latest information in startups and internet marketing.
