Well hey there.

Welcome to my blog and to my first post! The last time I had a blog was back when I was in middle school and livejournal was current coolest thing on the internet.  Most of my posts were about inside jokes I had with my friends, horrible lyrics from songs represented the boys i liked and complaints about my 13-year-old life.  I can promise two things: 1) that blog makes for a good laugh and 2) this blog won't be anything like my old one.

I've grown up a lot since then, but I'm still just a Junior in college and have much to learn. I am currently living and going to school at Michigan State University and I love every minute of it.  I'm studying advertising and public relations in hopes to one day work in the field preferably with social media.  The title for my blog is representative of how I approach things. I'm kind of like a sponge:  I soak in everything around me and live for new experiences and new adventures.  I do; however, hate they way "sponge" sounds, so found a better word.  I want to use this blog to share the fun, interesting and sometimes random stuff I come across about art, advertising, new media, culture and anything else that tickles my fancy.
